I made the Char Siu the one day. Decided to slice it added oil to the wok to sear the sliced Char Siu. I used carrots, napa cabbage, onions, water chestnuts, bamboo shoots, and a little green pepper. Basically everything I had left over from making general tso, moo shu chicken and lo mein throughout the week 😉 I used the mother sauce/brown sauce with added garlic. I believe it was close if not spot on, but I’ll let it up to the expert if I am wrong.
